"We like Hooked On Comics for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, the service is excellent. Unlike other shops, the employees don't treat you like a grade A moron if you can't name every single artist, writer and inker. The staff, led by owner and avid comic collector Sean Eirish, is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. And second, the shop knows what it is. You won't find tons of sci-fi/fantasy books, jewelry, clothes or other products taking up space. You will find a small selection of trading/gaming cards, Anime videos and just about every action figure known to man, but the main focus is on comics.
